What a freakshow! LOVE the reversers on the AN-72! I still remember hearing the horrorstories of relatives who flew on those Tupolevs way back. Now I have to go look at some cockpit-footage of these magnificent beasts.

Those sovjet dinosaurs have unique characteristics in terms of looks and engine sounds, what a fantastic video! My favorite is probably the Il-62, followed by the Tu-154.

Were you questioned by any of the authorities whilst you were filming the aircraft at all, just you hear stories about the Russians not taking a liking to their aircraft being filmed? Such incredible footage of these beautiful rare aircraft in action!

I am here to enjoy Soviet/Russian planes because I am an aviation enthuasiast, like everyone else here. Please don't mix up hobbies and interests with politics and politicians.

Lots of Antonovs in this video. I think I counted 7. Wonder if any of them are still airworthy, seeing as now they are Ukrainian made planes. I somehow doubt the Ukrainians are going to sell them parts for maintenance and repair.
